Jennifer Lawrence is absolutely safe. Her jet plane made an emergency landing on Saturday in Buffalo, New York, after both the engines failed while she was flying from Louisville, Kentucky.
The actress was on the way to visit her family on a private plane headed to Teterboro Aircraft in New Jersey and was mid-flight at about 31,000 feet when the engines failed to operate.
The names of other passengers have not been revealed by FAA, but spokesperson confirmed safe landing of the Hawker Beechcraft B40 aircraft at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport.
Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA) spokeswoman said two passengers and crew members were on board of the aircraft.
Representatives of the 26-year-old confirmed Jennifer Lawrence was fine and uninjured.
The Joy star has been lately keeping a low profile and last month was on headlines after sharing an unapologetic message on Facebook following a strip club outing in Vienna, Austria.
She wrote, “Look, nobody wants to reminded that they tried to dance on a stripper pole by the internet.”
A video of the club was leaked revealing the Oscar winner dancing on stage with friends.
Lawrence added that the occasion was her best friend’s birthday and for just one second she dropped her paranoia guard to have fun.
She added, “I’m not going to apologize, I had a BLAST that night.”
